This course is taught each winter by Jeremy and Marissa

Each of these mixed-level workshops centers on a family of postures and is intended to provide yoga practitioners with knowledge and techniques that will help them make progress with that type of shape.

Small groups and two instructors allow for individualized attention. The material presented to each practitioner is adjusted to match their ability, and students can expect to leave each workshop with a practice plan that will help them advance their postures to the next level.

Each of the 4.5-hour workshops includes:

-A short anatomy lesson that addresses structures and movement principles relevant to the day's topic

-A well-rounded asana practice

-An hour of focused work on the workshop's specific topic

-One segment of a four-part talk on asana practice for stress relief

-A plant-based lunch featuring homegrown organic produce

Student feedback: Winter 2018-2019 Session

"We both had a wonderful time at the Lotus and Other Seats workshop. My inner thighs were so sore the next day from the two-person stretch we did. I couldn’t believe how fast/easy my flexibility increased with that stretch."

"Thank you so much for inviting me into your home. It has been a wonderful learning experience and it has been great learning from you and Jeremy. I have learned so much about posture and being able to ground myself and it is because of the two of you. You and Jeremy are so beautiful together and work together to help others improve their practice."
